Hawkfield                    Pointers

After many years of owning other breeds of dogs and competing in many aspects of dog sports the first Pointer arrived in 1987. His name was Oscar and from that little puppy after many years of listening, learning and great respect to this beautiful breed Hawkfield Pointers are now established.

Oscar was bred from 'Pipeaway' lines by Barbara Cherry of Shanandi Pointers. After Oscar came his half brother Otter and then came Tigger.

1995 saw the arrival of Saphire - Pipeaway Phan Tasmah.  Hawkfield's foundation bitch. In 1997 the Hawkfield affix was registered and the first litter was whelped.
